1.Turn the battery case cover anti-clockwise and remove it.
2.Insert the battery with the positive(+) terminal in the direction of the cutting head.
3.Replace the battery case cover and turn it clockwise until locks.

Instruction for inserting batteries:
The battery closest to the hinge of the lid of the battery compartment must be inserted with the positive (+) terminal pointing down, to the outside of the battery compartment and the other battery must be inserted with the “+” terminal pointing up toward the the trimmer head. Unless the batteries are inserted exactly this way the trimmer will not work.
